Launching Scheduling, Mobile App, and Platform updates alongside Fixes
Scheduling presents new enhancements. It now auto-assigns sequence number to all activities in the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) hierarchy and ensures effective summarization. Users can establish a consistent numbering system for their projects using this feature. Users additionally have the choice to enter the sequence number manually.
When working with complex WBS structures, the system allows users to tailor the view to their specific needs by expanding or collapsing the WBS to the desired levels in the grid view, toggling (show or hide) different levels of detail within the WBS, and sorting column data in ascending or descending order.
Apart from creating a schedule, users can now easily edit or update the duration details, such as names, dates, and more.
Another significant improvement in the Spread graph allows users to visualize the alignment or deviation between planned and actual outcomes. The relationship between planned and actual data in module records typically involves linking and comparing the initially forecasted or planned data from another module. Linking helps display the Actual line on the spread graph.
The Gantt charts now provide a quick and clear status overview of the schedule using a color scheme. With the color scheme, users can easily distinguish between activities that haven't started, those in progress, and those completed. Additionally, to provide valuable insights into the actual project progress compared to the planned baseline, the system helps view the variance in a Gantt chart tooltip when hovering over the baseline bar.
By turning on the "Is applicable for Mobile" option, you can now determine if a module is compatible with or possible to utilize on mobile devices. By doing so, it ensures that the relevant module is now accessible or operational on a mobile platform. In other words, it enables the feature to work on mobile devices.
This release provides users with the flexibility to sign in using either their Native app account or their Microsoft credentials through Single Sign-On (SSO). This gives users the convenience of choosing the method that suits them best, while ensuring a straightforward and seamless experience. Users can effortlessly switch between these options within the mobile app and enjoy a hassle-free sign-in process. If Microsoft 2-factor authentication is enabled, the system prompts users to enter a code provided by the Authenticator app(or via OTP), which is then validated by the SSO system. After successful authentication with the Authenticator app, the system grants access to the application.
