Introducing Geotagging on Web and Mobile, Dynamic Dependent Drop-downs, Commissioning-CX, and Cost Control
Exto presents powerful capabilities for Geotagging on the Web and Mobile to enhance the overall user experience. Geotagging enables validating user permissions for data access, in addition to tracking the progress of projects at various site locations. With the geolocation data, users can perform specific tasks that are location specific and also control data access based on their preferences. The dedicated endpoints allow saving drafts, creating records, and submitting.
With the Dynamic Dependent Drop-downs, Project Managers can easily organize the search result during form entry with the Dataset created within the module designer. PMEs or site admins can set up the Main and dependent drop-down lists and define rules and actions so end-users can extract the corresponding values during form submission.

With the Cross-module line item validation, project teams get a clear view to validate specific line item fields, for example, Budget versus Purchase Order amount, and spot early signs of cost overrun. This functionality ensures the project delivers value within its timeline and budget.

Geotagging enables validating user permissions for data access and tracking the progress of projects at various site locations. With the geolocation data, users can perform specific actions that are location specific and also control data access based on their preferences and starts with determining if specific users must have access to fetch the geolocation based on the customer geolocation preference provided in their profile input, using the enableGeoTagging property.
The dedicated endpoints allow saving drafts, creating records, and submitting. The Geolocation details entered in the Interface are stored in the platform's backend service and available for subsequent record actions such as saving as draft, creating, and submitting.
