Introducing Enhancements on Exto Platform, Schedule Application, and Cost Control

Platform-related enhancements include changes to User Interface, feature updates, extended features in Mobile app, and API service changes in Geotag implementation.

Business users can take a snapshot(copy) of a Schedule at any time during the progression of the Schedule and maintain the Snapshot as a backup for further analysis. From being used as a performance measure to track progress throughout the project lifecycle, these snapshots can also be used as a benchmark to compare future progress. During project execution, it becomes imperative that Project Managers track and report the performance for short and long-term goals. The system allows users to create one or more snapshots and use these for various comparative purposes. Maintaining a new snapshot for the current schedule ensures the system is not overloaded and running quickly and smoothly.

Cost Control customizations available for (a) Report Builder Properties, a new data type — Formula is included to perform various calculations. Using this Formula type, you can combine multiple columns to create a custom calculation in your cost sheet. View the Cost Sheet Columns in a Hierarchical Layout (b) Cost Sheet Columns in a Hierarchical Layout , A summary of the cost sheet data across various modules is extracted and presented in a hierarchical view. This consolidated view eases the reporting activities and helps monitor the progress of the project (c) Roll-up Amount in Hierarchy to ease business transactions, Exto automatically rolls up the Cost Data (d) Display or hide the cost codes within a project. Turn on the slider to show or hide the column (e) Export cost sheet to Excel (f) Validation to avoid duplicate cost codes created within a project and prevent deletion of data in the hierarchy if they're referenced in the downstream module.
