Units and Cost Spread for Scope Type Activity

With Exto you can now manage quantifiable scope of work  using "Scope Type Activity" without the need to create and assign resources.

Scope type activity encompasses the following:

• managing scope of work with quantifiable units for the key quantity representing level of effort for the task 

• managing unit and cash-flow spread over time

To setup the spread for scope type activities, from the Sidebar navigation, select Spread data and choose the view from the drop-down list.

The Spread for Scope Type activities enables users to personalize the view at various levels. You can choose the view that best suits your requirements, either by Week/Day, Month/Week, or Year/Week and more.

You can save the view settings if you'd want them to appear the next time you work with the view. Skip saving the view, if you want the view to last only for the current session.

Note(s): 

1) Currently, the system supports linear spread of units and costs. Upcoming releases will have the functionality for the business users to manually update/override the spread data.

2) The System supports only cash flow spread based on a fixed price per unit, upcoming releases will include cash flow, variation with changing price per unit over time.
