It is important to keep in mind certain considerations for file deletion in workflow. These rules ensure a fair and controlled workflow process.
Firstly, only the creator of the submittal has the authority to delete files. Appropriate validation message displays when any other member attempts to delete a file, preventing unauthorized actions.
Secondly, if any member within a workflow step has uploaded a file, then any other member within that same step can delete it. This ensures flexibility and collaboration within the workflow.
The delete option is available in the Document Manager list view page and General Attachments section in form creation. On clicking the "Delete" button, a confirmation prompt displays to allow the user take the intended action of removing only the selected files. This step is crucial to prevent accidental deletion.
